Independent Creative Producer
Viv Gordon Company
Executive Producer & Company Co-Founder (Dec 2019 - April 2026)
Co-led the development of Viv Gordon Company CIC from a startup organisation into a pioneering child sexual abuse survivor-led cultural organisation focused on creativity, access and social change.
Over six years, I helped lead bold, pioneering work that used creativity, participation and public engagement to challenge stigma, create community, and support new conversations around child sexual abuse, trauma and survivor activism.
My role combined programme leadership, fundraising, partnership development and organisational strategy. My role included leading fundraising activity and overseeing organisational funding from sources including the Home Office, Innovate UK, Arts Council England and the National Lottery Community Fund, contributing to securing more than £1 million in funding over six years.
Alongside leading organisational development, I co-developed and delivered national multi-partner programmes involving universities, charities, artists and public sector organisations, including the Home Office-funded UpFront Survivors programme.
Key projects included co-developing the first national CSA Survivor Pride event, creating An ABC of CSA cards to support more open conversations around child sexual abuse, and co-delivering Creative Leaders Training — a first-of-its-kind leadership programme for CSA survivors.
Through performances, workshops, national networks, digital campaigns and public engagement activity, the organisation’s work has reached thousands of survivors and allies across the UK.
Alongside creative and programme leadership, I worked collaboratively with Viv and our wider team to develop partnerships with over 50 organisations across arts, community, academic and public sector contexts, helping to grow national networks and develop more accessible, survivor-led approaches to participation, engagement and social change.
