Viv Gordon makes theatre about her lived experience of childhood sexual abuse as activism for the silencing of the 11 million adult survivors in the UK who are currently not represented in our culture. I have been working to develop the company structure and strategy, developing project plans, partnerships and fundraising.

 

I have overseen the development of the productions "Restless" and "Cutting Out", as well as produced the short animation and music track release "She walks...".

 

We are currently developing a pilot Survivor Arts Festival for 2022, which will be the first of its’ kind in the world, developing cultural space for survivor-led arts practice through seed commissions, artist residency programme, and a curated festival programme.
