What Am I Worth? by Extraordinary Bodies

Producer and Change Agent (Jan 2020 - July 2022)

I joined Extraordinary Bodies to produce the national tour of "What Am I Worth?" as part of an Arts Council England Strategic Touring programme focused on bringing diverse-led work to mainstream stages.

Shortly after starting the role in January 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic fundamentally changed the landscape of the project and had a particularly significant impact on many disabled artists and participants involved in the work. As touring and rehearsal plans became impossible, the role quickly evolved into supporting the adaptation and continuation of creative work through remote and hybrid models (See video on YouTube).

Working collaboratively with the wider team, I helped reshape existing plans and supported the development of new approaches to accessible creative production during the pandemic. This included producing the remotely created film "What Do You See In Me?", coordinating artists working from home across multiple locations during lockdown (

Following additional emergency and recovery funding from Arts Council England and Paul Hamlyn Foundation - including funding bids I co-developed - we went on to create "Human", a new hybrid stage production exploring connection, identity and disability during the pandemic. Alongside the live touring production, we also developed a filmed version of the work to ensure audiences who were still unable to return to theatres due to ongoing Covid-19 risks could continue to access the project.

I managed the creative process, rehearsals and delivery across remote, in-person and hybrid working models, supporting a national tour to venues including The Lowry and Theatre Royal Plymouth in 2021 and 2022.
